How to participate?

    It's easy, draw Shinji! and send your drawing to: info@insomnia-doll.com (don't forget to tell me your nickname, and your website/deviantart/flickr/whatever, if you have). The drawings will be showed in a special section in the gallery www.insomnia-doll.com/gallery.… .
    You don't need great drawings skills to win, just to be creative and have fun! All the technics are allowed (traditional, digital, comic, portraits, chibi, doodles…)
    The winner will receive a Shinji head (in oriental or fresh skin, you can choose), and of course it is totally free, you won't have to pay shipping cost.
    You can send your drawings until August 31st 2011. And the winner will be announced 2nd September.
    The drawings will be shown anonymously to a jury, and they will decide the winner.

What do you need to know about Shinji?

Shinji is a visual-kei singer and he loves see drawings of himself! He has all the wall of his bedroom with drawings and pictures from fans and friends, and they comforts him and makes him happy when he feels sad. If you need reference pictures, you can see Shinji in the gallery.

- He is a Japanese boy in his early twenties.
- He dyes his hair color a lot! blonde, red, black…
- His eyes are dark brown but he wears contact lenses for band pictures and concerts.
- He is thin and not very tall, hyperactive, funny, silly, crybaby, cute, big mouth (in all the meanings)…

Now, you can forget all of these things and just draw him as you want! xD

¿Cómo participar?

    Es fácil, dibuja a Shinji! y envía tu dibujo a: info@insomnia-doll.com (no olvides ponerme tu nick y tu web/deviantart/flickr/loquesea, si tienes). Los dibujos se mostrarán en una sección especial en la galería www.insomnia-doll.com/gallery.… .
    No necesitas ser un esperto dibujante para ganar, sólo ser creativo y divertirte! Todas las técnicas están permitidas (tradionales, digital, comic, retrato, chibis, garabatos…)
    El ganador recibira una cabeza de Shinji (en oriental o fresh skin, puedes elegir), y por supuesto será totalmente gratis, no tienes que pagar gastos de envío.
    Puedes mandar tus dibujos hasta el 31 de Agosto de 2011. El ganador será anunciado el 2 de Septiembre.
    Los dibujos se mostrarán de forma anónima a un jurado, y ellos decidirán el ganador.

¿Que necesitas saber sobre Shinji?

Shinji es cantante en un grupo visual-kei singer y le encanta ver dibujos de si mismo! Tiene todas las paredes de su habitación llena de dibujos y fotos, de fans y amigos, y le reconfortan y le hacen feliz cuando se siente triste. Si necesitas imagenes de referencia, puedes ver a Shinji eh la galeria.

- Es un chico japonés de unos veinte años.
- Suele teñirse el pelo a menudo (rojo, rubio, negro…)
- Tiene los ojos marrón oscuro, pero lleva lentillas de colores para los conciertos y las fotos de grupo.
- Es delgado y no demasiado alto, hiperacivo, divertido, tonto, llorón, mono, bocazas (en todos los sentidos)…

Ahora, puedes olvidar todas estas cosas, y simplemente dibujarlo como quieras! xD
